Birthday Girls

This past week was a big one in our house. Noelle turned 5 and our puppy, Maple turned two.

I’ll never forget when #missnoellerose was born and my husband said, “It’s a girl- I’m not even joking!” That second bit made me question everything so I said, “someone with a medical degree tell me what it is!” To be fair I was pretty drugged and loopy haha! I would have been thrilled with another boy, but a girl? Well that was such a pleasant surprise! I burst into tears at the realization that I would be a girl mom. I still can hardly believe this beautiful little girl is mine [except I know she is because she looks so much like her brothers and I see quite a bit of me in her now lol] We love you Wellie-woo! Thanks for completing our family human-wise. To celebrate, our family of five plus “Baba” visited the Butterfly Conservatory followed by brunch. After dinner, my mom joined us for cake and presents. In September, we will have a little shindig with her mates. There will more partying with my husband’s family as well.

On Monday our dog turned two years old. We adore you Maple 🍁🐾… I never knew I could love an animal so much and you truly are such a valued member of our family.  We are grateful to be a part of your pack. 🐶🦴
