Time For School
“Don’t you love New York in the fall? It makes me want to buy school supplies. I would send you a bouquet of newly sharpened pencils if I knew your name and address.”
I blinked and here we are. Our oldest son, Dylan started school last week! At first he was very nervous and there were lots of tears [both from Mommy and Dylan 🙈]. Even after only five days, the tears are gone and he is starting to enjoy it now that he understands what it’s all about. Dylan is gobbling up his lunch, he’s talking about new friendships and is even invited to a classmate’s birthday party.
We are so proud of our big, brave boy. And while my heart aches for Dylan at times when he is in school [t-minus 1.5 hours until the bus drops him off], I am loving quality time with Kyler in the mornings and snuggles with Noelle in the afternoon when he naps.
